ONE MORE DAY!!

One more day until Breaking Dawn!!!!!!!! ARGH!!!! (and I'll be more than an hour away from any book store that sells it) I'm thinking Lacey and I will be making a trip after everyone's in bed. MUUUAAHAHAHAH!

Boating

We went boating with Raine and Drew last Saturday (and the day before just I went without any kids or husband! It was nice to have a day to myself!) and we just went crazy in the water. Gavin's starting to even be okay with swimming in the middle of the lake too. (Of course with a life jacket...duh!)

On a side note....we'll see who's REALLY reading this post....Right before I went boating, I took a Pregnancy Test. Guess what it said...."Knocked up". That's right...you heard it. I'm gonna get fatter, meaner and uglier within the next few months, so be nice to me and send me lots of money.

Now, tomorrow we leave for the Caribou County Fair. Only the most Redneck for my family. Then, the day after we get back, we'll be driving to Colorado to see Tim's brother in Pueblo. YAY!! Getting sick in the car....YAY!! Tim and I have bets going on to see how many times I can throw up on the way to Denver. I'll let you know who wins!

24th of July

We went to Liberty Park with Raine and Drew and their family for the fireworks. Gav did so well compared to the other freak out sessions we had on the 4th. We had the best seats in the house...right next to where they shot them off.

Gav taking a picture of himself
Tim....being Tim.....
Andrew entertaining the kiddies.
My super scary face.

Gavin and Fallon doing "Flippy's".

Laraine playing with Gavin. She's always so good with him. He loves his "AWaine"

Lagoon

We went to Lagoon with Brian and Sally one Saturday night after my little family reunion. I'm sooo sad I don't have any pics to post of the reunion! It was so fun to see all my Aunts and my cousins. My computer is slowly dying and I will soon have to buckle down and buy a new one....booooo.....

Anyways. We had so much fun...like always! It's nice to be able to just go at night for a few hours and come home. Tim and Bri did the Sky Coaster while Sally and I watched. I'm glad I watched...that's all I have to say!

Ward Campout

We went camping with Brian and Sally at their ward campout a few weeks ago. It was way fun! I love camping and can't understand why I don't do it more.

Sally planned all the kid games and they had more fun than I could even imagine! Here's them getting ready for flag football!
Someone brought up pizza for dinner and when they wanted to reheat it we came up with our own clever little microwave.
Here's Sally and Tammy's mom making the orange/cake thingies...AMAZING! Sally is the best cook ever!!
Gavin eating the leftovers.

Thanks guys for letting us go with you and sleep in your tent....and eat your food....and wear your socks....and use your deodorant....and sing to you.....and....

New Baby Lincoln

Lacey deserves a whole post just for herself! On Friday she gave birth to the 13th grandchild on the Fowler side! Boo yah! Lucky number 13! He IS SO CUTE! All Gavin wanted to do was hold the baby and hold the baby's binkie in his mouth. He looked so proud. He got kind of mad, though. I didn't realize until later that he thought he got to take the baby home with him. I had to keep telling him that it was Lacey's new baby and we would see him again soon.

Baby Stats (I think these are right)
LINCOLN
8 lbs. 15 oz (New Fowler record!)
22 inches long
Good job, Lacey!

Busy Weekend

I really should say, busy weekend, easy Sunday. Today has been WONDERFUL. Just nice and laid back. Sadly, we didn't make it to church though. We all, Gavin included, slept in until 10:30AM! Didn't think we needed an alarm clock today...we were wrong!

To kick off the weekend, Kim (Tim's brother Cody's wife) and her 4 kids came through Salt Lake on their way home to Colorado from Portland, OR. It was nice seeing the kids getting bigger! They are so funny and really cute!

Wall-E and Diarrhea...In that Order, Please.

Well, the last few days Gavin has been nasty sick and super fun. All day yesterday, he just laid on the couch and watched movies with me. We did this all day, because Tim had church ball and was gone all night, so I easily forgot what time it was. He's much better today. Still not his crazy self, but happy enough to play with his new Wall-E toy dad got him! Oh yes, and we had our first "Diarrhea at Walmart" experience today while grocery shopping. Every mom has got to go through that to know what true motherhood is!

And on to Wall-E, the new love of Gavin's life. It all started with a plate and a cup I bought at Walmart WAY before the movie came out. Ever since that, he has had a deep obsession with the robot. We took him to see the movie and he thought it was the COOLEST thing in the world. He sat through the entire movie with his little popcorn and didn't move until the end credits were rolling. I love my big boy! He's so much fun now!

Tim even went out and bought him a Wall-E T-shirt for the big day.
Sorry, the pics are a bit blurry...Tim took them, that's all I have to say.

Reflections of the Sumo Baby

I was arguing with a family member about how large and in charge Gavin was when he was little. For how skinny and active he is now, nobody who didn't see him when he was small believes that I had a giant baby. I remember being scared to death that my kid was going to be one of those kids who can't walk straight because his thighs where too gigantic.

These pictures are of Gavin when he was 2MONTHS OLD! That's right.....I blessed him at 6 weeks and a few weeks later, this is what he looked like!! Last Sunday, I was watching our neighbors baby blessing last Sunday and the little girl was normal size. So cute, so little. Gavin's blessing outfit was size 6-12 months. It's funny because I remember everyone in our ward telling me I blessed a whale. (Not something to say to a woman who is still hormonal, by the way.) He was 15 lbs. at 2 months and 19 pounds at 4! My kid is the epitome of "Chunky Monkey"! He liked da Mama's Milk, that's for sure!

The 5th of July

For the 5th of July we celebrated sweet little Cayson Fowler's birthday. We went over to Wyatt and Tami's new house and watched their neighbors illegal fireworks from their front lawn. When that was over with we turned our chairs around and watched the Rocky Mountain Raceway's firework show. It was quite entertaining! I loved it for sure!

Oh yeah, and I have to throw in for the sake of Lacey, the lovely ash from a firework that burned her butt and holes in her chair.....Freaky. Only the 9 month pregnant lady, right? The one that can't get out of the way as fast! I'm sorry, Lacey! I just have to right this as a reminder to talk about it every year for the rest of our lives!
Riley, Kennedy and Tatum going crazy after the slippy slide.
Reagan in her sexy swimsuit!
Chilling in his jammies with a cup of ice, spider-man sippy cup and a bag of chips and watching fireworks. Life does not get any better than that.
Christian, Riley and Campbell getting annoyed with Aunt Crystal.

The Birthday boy loved the slippy slide much more than Gavin. It took Gavin a bit to warm up to it, but he loved it eventually!

Us Fowler's don't go buy normal slip n' slides. Nope, we buy giant painting tarps! We get too crazy to get the crappy ones! Got to have one tradition to pass to the kids, right?!

Happy 4th of July!

We went with my friend Laraine and her husband Andrew to Utah Lake and took their boat out with some of our friends. It was probably the most fun I've had on the 4th for a long time. It's nice to have good friends who take you fun places.

Gavin LOVED to drive the boat. Thought he was the coolest when Andrew let him drive.

Every time Tim would lake a picture, Gavin would splash so this is as good as it gets.

Raine keeping me from dying in the middle of the lake. Most people don't know I'm SCARED to DEATH of water. Laraine capitalizes on it daily! The water was surprisingly warm and the day was nice and cloudy (so not so scorching). Also, there were hardly any boats out. NICE for the Paranoid girl.

Gavin in his 4th of July outfit he wore for all but 2 hours...money well spent, I'd say! We watched a few fireworks, but not too many. We were too exhausted to move by the end of the day!
